Passing the Hat
The "hat" has been passed to me. It doesn't quite fit Brett & I, it's pretty big.
I found out, after I volunteered for Bellerive Bash 2011, that the winner of the fishing competition was going to win this honor. Good one, Seph! I need to learn to keep my mouth shut (but I wont). I may need extra help filling the hat so Nelson's be prepared to step up to help us ~please~
I'm not going to let you in on our plans for 2011 yet, but you'll survive.
Thank you all for making memories together that no family but ours can!

A LITTLE COMPETITION
Since our FAMILY is not competitive enough I thought I would up the ante. We are going to see who is the best fisherman in the family. Ok Ok I know it is between Joey and Norma but I thought we could try anyway. And since you all know I can not catch a fish on a pole we are going to have two categories. The first will be on a pole and the second will be trout line. All fish will have to be weighed in order for your fish to count. We will make wagers for the largest fish daily as well as for the weekend. The fish totals will all be displayed for all to see. This way you will know where you stand. So get them poles or trout lines ready.
If any of you have a digital fish scale it would be great if you would bring it. This way a couple boats could have them.
Food arrangements to follow.

ATTENTION!!!
READ ALL ABOUT IT!
Come one, come all to the play of the year hear. Siskel and Ebert give it two thumbs UP and The New York Times gives it FIVE stars!
The Thrilling Three are crashing our Bellerive Bash this year! The Thrilling Three were a team of super heroes. Rocket could fly at tremendous speeds. Daffy is very stretchy. Taffy had special vision for seeing through objects. Their job was to protect Grandville. An evil girl named Sapphire was trying to get away. She raced through the city, and the Thrilling Three chased after her…....written and narrated by Jacob Davis of Plainville, KS.
Tickets will be on sale prior to show time (all ticket sales will be placed in the offertory).

TRADITION
'Tis the season!
Well the camping season is right the corner. Since the snow has finally melted I figured I would get you in the mood for some outdoor fun. If you did not hear this year we are heading back to Webster Lake and camping up on the top up the hill for Memorial Day weekend.
As for the location of the camping spot this year I would like to apologize to some that were offended on how it was announced at the hall back in Stockton. I did not even think about there not being any electricity since we have a tent. There will be three generators provided to accommodate those in need of electricity. I just thought it would be fun to go back for a year. It is not that I do not enjoy Glen Elder because I do. To me it is not about the location. It is about family, friends, fun, and TRADITION.
So as you may have guessed this year’s theme is going to be TRADITION. We are going to bring back the old school skits, meals, crafts, and entertainment, but not the wind.
Stay tuned for I will be updating this Blog much more as we get closer to the date.
